Qatar has decided to postpone its upcoming National Day celebrations in a show of solidarity with Gaza, which has been in the conflict between Israel and Hamas since October 7. The announcement was made through a video shared on X (Previously Twitter) by Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Khaled Al-Attiyah.

This decision was driven by the grave situation in Gaza, characterized by what he described as "genocide and crimes against humanity."
