Qatar to Run a 'Palestine Duty Relief' Campaign on National Day

If you're feeling charitable on Qatar National Day, then you can donate to The Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities' fundraising campaign 'Palestine Duty Relief' on the occasion of the National Day.

'Palestine Duty Relief' Campaign

RACA's relief campaign will provide Gazans with warm clothes, blankets, tents, and heating equipment for the winter. 

Qatar TV will run a live broadcast of the campaign on Qatar National Day, featuring the donation points in Katara Cultural Village, Souq Waqif, and Darb Al Saai.

In addition to relief for the winter in Gaza, the campaign will also provide medicine, food, water, hygiene supplies, and women's and children's supplies for Palestinians in Gaza. 

The conflict in Gaza has destroyed various infrastructures in Gaza and created a humanitarian catastrophe with a lack of medical resources, fuel, energy, water resources, and electricity, which requires intervention at all levels. 

Qatar's Other Initiatives for Gaza

Qatar has been sending humanitarian aid aeroplanes to Egypt to support Palestinians in Gaza

So far, Qatar has sent 44 aircraft with 1,464 tons of humanitarian aid. 

Qatar also organized a 'Stand with Palestine' match, which raised over QAR 20 million for donations to Gaza.

Qatar Foundation also organized a fundraising campaign for Palestinian children on Dec. 16 inspired by the TV series 'Siraj'.
