Qatar Demands Swift Reopening of Airspace After Flight Disruptions

The State of Qatar, through its Permanent Mission to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), has formally called for the rapid reopening of its airspace following disruptions caused by recent regional attacks.

In an official letter to Toshiyuki Onuma, Qatar described the attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran as a violation of its sovereignty and a breach of the Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation. The country also reaffirmed its rights under international law.
