Lewis Hamilton Visits Gaza Aid Facilities in Jordan, Calls for More Donations

Formula One star Lewis Hamilton has shared an emotional message after visiting a hospital and aid packaging center in Jordan dedicated to helping people in Gaza—calling the experience “life-changing” and urging the world not to look away.

“I Expected Hopelessness—But I Saw Resilience”

Hamilton said he went into the visit expecting to feel overwhelmed and helpless after seeing the reality on the ground. Instead, what stayed with him was something else entirely: resilience.

He highlighted the strength of families struggling to survive, doctors working nonstop to save lives, and humanitarian teams pushing through impossible conditions just to deliver aid.

Praise for Red Cross and Crescent Teams on the Ground

Hamilton specifically commended the efforts of the British Red Cross, Jordan Red Crescent, and Palestine Red Crescent Society, saying their teams are doing everything they can to get help to those who need it most.

According to him, their determination and humanity are something the world can learn from.

Aid Reaching Gaza Is “Nowhere Near Enough”

While Hamilton stressed that help is possible and that ending the suffering is possible, he warned that the current flow of aid into Gaza is far from sufficient.

He said humanitarian organisations must be allowed to reach affected areas freely—and that public pressure matters.

A Call to Donate and Keep Talking

Hamilton urged people to use both their voices and resources, encouraging donations to the British Red Cross or other charities delivering aid in Gaza. He also emphasized the importance of continued attention.

His message was clear: don’t stop talking about it, don’t stop caring, and don’t stop speaking up.
