Jack Al-Blushi: Gamer, Broadcaster, and Co-Founder of Darkcube Esports

As more and more gaming-related events and competitions have been held in recent years, gaming has steadily increased in Qatar. Jack Al-Blushi, a streamer, Esports event announcer, and co-founder of DarkCube Esports, is one of the content creators from Qatar who has been actively participating in the local gaming scene.

Tell us a little bit about yourself and the content you create.

JA: I'm one of the streamers for PUBG mobile, Apex Legends, and other games in the future. My name is Jack Al-Blushi. In addition, I've been casting for tournaments because I co-founded DarkCube Esports, an Esports company that organizes and runs events.

Let's discuss your gaming history. Describe the games you play for us.

JA: I began playing video games at the age of 5, and my first system was a SEGA. The graphics and the way game characters responded to your controller commands to move amazed me in the past. the initial game that

I primarily enjoy multiplayer, adventure, and battle royale games, such as Apex Legends, Call of Duty, Genshin Impact, and Super Mario Odyssey.

What can you tell us about PUBG Mobile and your gaming background?

JA: Since the release of PUBG Mobile, my perspective on gaming has changed significantly. I was a gamer before and I am a gamer now, the difference being that I earn money from gaming now. Without PUBG Mobile, the idea of casting would never have occurred to me.

What and how did DarkCube begin?

JA: For the past three years, the Esports gaming tournament company DarkCube has produced 21 profitable PUBG mobile tournaments. We are a group of eight devoted gamers that got together to form an organization where the players are acknowledged through leagues and tournaments.

It all began when I discovered that there isn't much competition while we play PUBG mobile every day without being acknowledged for our abilities and strategies in-game. In order to target the GCC community, where we received an exceptional reaction from the majority of the teams, I assembled a team of three founders.

What future plans does DarkCube have?

JA: DarkCube is preparing to grow in Qatar for the time being because there has been an increase in esports competitions, which will undoubtedly help our standings going forward. We will be contacting larger communities after our expansion into Qatar to invite esports players to participate in our LAN and online events.

Which gaming-related events do you want to see more of in Qatar?

JA: I'd want to see LAN parties where gamers congregate and talk to one another. In addition, as this is the only method to encourage local gaming talent, I would love to see whether it is recognized.

What suggestions do you have for prospective game content producers?

Do what you love and avoid forcing yourself into a game or pastime because you believe there will be money or celebrity involved since you could wind up being unhappy. However, there is the joy of pure gaming when you stream what you love to do, and at the same time, you might achieve greater heights thanks to the community's support.

Do you have any information you'd like to share with us on the gaming scene in Qatar?

The gaming scene in Qatar is expanding, but some local talents, like myself, seem to be still struggling to shine in the shadows with little help from sponsors or local businesses. You must first look within the community for support if you want to launch massive gaming events and esports. I'm anticipating a flurry of activity in the upcoming days, and I sincerely hope that everything will work out in our favor.
