Qatar Airways Launches First-Ever Direct Flights to Trabzon

Trabzon, in Turkey, now has a direct route from Qatar Airways for the first time ever.

The service launches with an Airbus A320 and operate three times per week on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

While Qatar Airways continues to fly to over 160 locations worldwide, the new route represents another significant step in the airline's growing footprint in Turkey.

The flag carrier now flies to seven locations in Turkey, including Trabzon, in addition to Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Bodrum, and Istanbul.

“Trabzon is an exciting and important new route for Qatar Airways, which solidifies our strong commitment to Türkiye and delivers on the high demand for connectivity between Doha and Trabzon,” said Qatar Airways CEO, Akbar Al Baker.

“Reaffirming our commitment to the strong partnership between Qatar and Türkiye, Qatar Airways’ network in Türkiye has expanded to 58 weekly flights during the peak summer season.”

The Trabzon route by Qatar Airways will remain operational throughout the summer season until August 22nd, the airline announced.
