Convoy Rehearsal Takes Place in Amman for Crown Prince's Wedding

Jordanian security forces performed a practice run of a convoy on May 21st, which will accompany Crown Prince Hussein to his wedding on June 1st. 

Security personnel lined up the main streets to practice the procedure as part of the final preparations for the wedding. 

Videos were shared online of the rehearsal, which showed a convoy led by a Mercedes S-class. It was followed by a Toyota Landcruiser and they were surrounded by 14 open-top red army Land Rovers and seven red army motorcycles.

The support vehicles followed at the rear of the convoy, which included another Land Cruiser transporting communication. 

The religious ceremony of Prince Hussein and Rajwa Al Saif will take place at Zahran Palace on June 1st, while the reception and banquet will place at another palace located on the outskirts of Amman.

The Crown Prince and his wife will be transported by the convoy between the two palaces. The streets will be lined by security personnel, nonetheless, people will be able to watch the convoy drive through the streets of Amman.
