Best Goal in the World Cup Qatar 2022 Goes to…

FIFA announced the winner of the award for the best goal scored in the 2022 World Cup, which was recently held in Qatar.

FIFA reported on its official website that Richarlison, the striker of the Brazil national team and the Tottenham team, won the award for the best goal in the World Cup in Qatar, after the wonderful double kick he scored against Serbia.

Richarlison scored that goal against Serbia in the group stage of the first round of the World Cup, during the match that the Brazilian team decided with two goals to nil.

Thus, Richarlison outperformed other goals of the most prominent stars of the World Cup in Qatar, including Salem Al-Dosari, the Saudi national team striker.

Al-Dosari scored a wonderful goal with a powerful and focused shot, against Emiliano Martinez, the Argentine goalkeeper.

Al-Dosari's shell opened the way for the Saudi national team to beat Argentina 2-1, in a historic victory for Al-Akhdar.

It should be noted that this defeat was the only one for Argentina on its way to crowning the 2022 World Cup title, for the third time in its World Cup history.

Richarlison excelled in the voting race to win the 2022 World Cup goal award over 8 goals that were nominated for the award, namely:

Salem Al-Dosari's goal - in the match between Saudi Arabia and Argentina.

Enzo Fernandez's goal - in the match between Argentina and Mexico.

Luis Chavez goal - was in the match between Mexico and Saudi Arabia.

Vincent Abubakar's goal - in the match between Cameroon and Serbia

Kylian Mbappe's goal - in the France-Poland match.
