Poor visibility and high sea waves
The strong winds may lead to dusty skies and reduced horizontal visibility, especially in exposed areas. Authorities have warned the public to drive carefully and avoid outdoor activities where possible, particularly during peak dust hours.
A marine warning is also in place. Sea conditions are expected to be rough, with wave heights ranging from 3 to 8 feet and possibly reaching 12 feet at times. Boaters and fishermen are urged to stay updated and avoid risky trips until conditions stabilize.
Public urged to follow official weather updates
Residents are strongly advised to stay informed by following official updates from Qatar’s Meteorology Department. The public is also encouraged to take precautions, especially those with respiratory issues or allergies that may be triggered by dust.
