The Numbeo Quality of Life Index measures the main factors that affect daily life and overall well-being. It looks at safety, purchasing power, healthcare, housing affordability, cost of living, commuting time, pollution, and climate.
The National Planning Council said Qatar made strong progress in the index and kept its solid regional position by coming second among Gulf countries.
The Council also said Qatar's total score rose from 182.7 to 188.6, showing steady improvement in important quality of life areas.
This growth comes from Qatar's long-term development plan, which focuses on better infrastructure, improved public services, modern facilities, and a stronger healthcare system. The Council added that Qatar's high levels of safety and stability continue to support a secure and strong environment for people and businesses.
