The State of Qatar has issued a strong condemnation following a tragic attack on the village of Yelewata in Benue State, Nigeria, which left dozens of people dead or injured.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its deep concern over the violence and reaffirmed the country's firm stance against terrorism, violence, and criminal acts, no matter the motive or cause.

The ministry also offered heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, as well as to the government and people of Nigeria. Qatar wished those injured in the attack a full and speedy recovery.

The attack on Yelewata is one of the latest incidents in a series of violent events that have affected various regions of Nigeria. As global leaders continue to speak out, Qatar’s statement joins a growing international chorus urging peace and stability in the region.
