In a major moment for space tourism, six women—led by some big names including pop star Katy Perry—successfully completed a brief flight to space aboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket. The launch took place from West Texas at around 8:30 AM local time (5:30 PM UAE), lasting just over 10 minutes.

What happened during the space flight?

The rocket soared to over 100 km above Earth, crossing the Karman line, the boundary officially considered the edge of space. The capsule then separated from the rocket, allowing the crew to experience a few minutes of weightlessness and an unmatched view of the planet below.
