From June 16, the carrier boosts global connectivity with enhanced frequencies and passenger-friendly rebooking policies through September.

Qatar Airways is set to significantly broaden its global reach this summer, expanding its international flight network to serve over 150 destinations starting June 16, 2026. The updated schedule, which remains valid until September 15, 2026, introduces a variety of new routes and increased flight frequencies to and from the airline's hub in Doha. This strategic expansion aims to provide travelers with greater flexibility and connectivity as they plan their summer holidays and business trips across the globe.

Passengers with confirmed bookings on flights included in the new schedule will receive direct notifications containing updated flight information. The airline strongly recommends that travelers regularly check the official Qatar Airways website or mobile app for the latest updates and ensure their contact details are current to facilitate smooth communication regarding their itineraries.

In addition to the network expansion, Qatar Airways has outlined specific protections for travelers with confirmed bookings for travel dates falling between February 28 and September 15, 2026. Eligible passengers are entitled to complimentary date changes to a new travel date up to October 31, 2026, provided they rebook on flights operated by Qatar Airways and subject to seat availability and fare seasonality. Should a flight be impacted by the schedule changes, travelers retain the right to further fee-free modifications until the end of October. Alternatively, passengers may opt for a refund of the unused ticket value.

The airline issued a reminder that processing refunds may take up to 28 working days. Furthermore, travelers were advised not to proceed to their departure airport unless they possess a valid, confirmed ticket for their intended travel, emphasizing the importance of verifying flight status before heading to the terminal.
