Qatar Airways becomes first Gulf carrier to serve Venezuela and launches new flights to Caracas and Bogotá from July 2026.

Qatar Airways is set to launch new flight operations to Caracas, Venezuela, and Bogotá, Colombia, starting 22 July 2026, marking a historic expansion in the Americas. The airline becomes the first Gulf carrier to serve Venezuela and the first to operate direct flights from the Middle East to both Caracas and Bogotá.

The new routes will operate twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Sundays, enhancing connectivity between the Middle East and South America. The flights are designed to offer seamless onward connections through Hamad International Airport to key destinations including Australia, China, Japan, Lebanon, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates.

  • Bogotá (BOG) to Caracas (CCS): Departs 17:35, Arrives 20:40
  • Caracas (CCS) to Doha (DOH): Departs 22:40, Arrives 19:55 (+1 day)

This launch marks Qatar Airways’ 15th and 16th destinations in the Americas, continuing its growth since entering the South American market in 2010 with flights to São Paulo, Brazil.
