Qatar Airways Extends Temporary Flight Suspension Amid Airspace Closure
Carrier postpones resumption of services as Qatari airspace remains shut; updates expected soon.
Qatar Airways has confirmed that its flight operations will remain temporarily suspended through March 4, 2026, as Qatari airspace continues to face closures due to ongoing regional developments.
In its latest service advisory issued on March 4, 2026, the airline stated that flights will not resume until authorities confirm that airspace restrictions have been lifted and it is safe to operate. An additional update is expected on March 5, 2026, once further assessments are made.
The suspension affects both inbound and outbound services via Hamad International Airport, where flight operations remain on hold until clearance is granted by the relevant authorities. Passengers have been advised not to proceed to the airport unless they receive direct communication from the airline.
