The countdown to one of the Middle East's most significant maritime gatherings has officially begun. Yesterday, Old Doha Port formally launched the campaign for the Qatar Boat Show 2026, revealing the event's new slogan, "Crafting Wonderful." The announcement took place during a premiere event attended by media professionals, industry partners, and key stakeholders, who witnessed the debut of the campaign's brand film. This launch marks the start of the preparations for the third edition of the show, which aims to further cement Qatar's reputation as a global hub for the maritime industry.
Scheduled to take place from November 4 to November 7, 2026, the event will return to its home at Old Doha Port. The show will be held under the patronage of Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani. The selection of the slogan "Crafting Wonderful" is intended to reflect the dual meaning of the word "craft" within the maritime context. It signifies the event's commitment to excellence across all aspects of the show, from the high-end vessels displayed on the water to the strategic business conversations and international partnerships formed on the docks.
The organizing committee, led by Eng. Mohammed Abdullah Al Mulla, CEO of Old Doha Port and Chairman of the Qatar Boat Show Organizing Committee, has expressed full readiness for the upcoming edition. Eng. Mohammed Al Atwan, COO of Old Doha Port and Director of the Qatar Boat Show, provided an overview of the event's trajectory since its inception in 2024. He highlighted the milestones achieved in previous years and outlined the current preparations underway for the November showcase, extending a formal invitation to confirmed exhibitors to join the growing roster.
The momentum for the 2026 edition is built on the impressive success of the second iteration of the show. Last year's event attracted over 27,000 visitors representing 105 countries. The exhibition featured 65 boats and watercraft with a combined value of QR880 million. Furthermore, the second edition saw a 25 percent increase in exhibitor participation compared to the inaugural show in 2024. These figures demonstrate the event's rapidly expanding regional influence and the increasing confidence of the global maritime community in Qatar as a key player on the world stage.
As the campaign moves forward, the focus will shift to delivering what organizers describe as the most ambitious edition yet. The event promises four days of innovation, industry networking, and maritime excellence. With the campaign film now premiered and the "Crafting Wonderful" slogan officially unveiled, the Qatar Boat Show 2026 is set to welcome the global maritime community to the historic waters of Old Doha Port this coming November.
