West Bay Beach in Doha to Get an Accessibility Ramp

The most popular leisure destination in Doha West Bay Beach will soon implement an accessibility ramp, which will give individuals with mobility challenges access to the beautiful beach.

The ramp will allow individuals with wheelchairs to navigate the beach easily and it will also provide access to the waterfront easily. 

The initiative is part of the 'Inclusivity at WBB: Breaking Barriers, Embracing All' campaign, which is run by West Bay Beach.

The campaign aims to make the beach accessible to everyone by removing physical barriers. 

West Bay Beach is the first in Qatar to implement initiatives that cater to people with mobility challenges. 

Qatar Tourism is working diligently to attain ISO 21902:2021 certification, which is an international recognition for best practices that are implemented to promote accessible tourism.

With the ramp at West Bay Beach, people with mobility challenges will be able to enjoy a wonderful beach day!
