There's a Free Watercolor Workshop for Adults on These Dates

The Museum of Islamic Art is hosting a special workshop from May 12 to May 14, 2024, focused on the beautiful designs of the Safavid Empire. Inspired by the "Fashioning an Empire: Textiles from Safavid Iran" exhibition, the workshop offers attendees a chance to explore the rich artistic heritage of the era.

Hands-On Artistic Experience

Participants will have the opportunity to create their own artwork on watercolor paper using drawing and watercolor techniques, guided by experts. The workshop aims to inspire an appreciation for the intricate patterns and designs from the Safavid period.

Event Details

The workshop runs from 4 PM to 6 PM each day and is free to attend. However, participants must register in advance. No tickets are required, but attendees are encouraged to secure their spot early due to limited availability.
