Replacement Bus Services For Lusail Tram on Orange Line This Weekend

The Lusail Tram on the Orange Line will be replaced with bus services on May 26th and 27th, according to a statement released by Doha Metro & Lusail Tram on Wednesday.

The notification stated that "metroexpress bookings for Energy City South service area can be made to/from the other Tram stations" and that "metroexpress will operate as normal."

The Lusail Tram played a key role in fan travel during last year's FIFA World Cup. 

According to official figures, the Lusail tram line carried 800,000 passengers during the tournament, at a rate of 27,000 people per day. Legtaifiya and Lusail Central were the network's busiest stations during that period.
