Free Shuttle to F1 Race; Doha Metro & Lusail Tram Extend Service

Mowasalat has announced that it will be providing a free shuttle service for racegoers from exit 1 of the QNB Lusail Metro Station to the Formula 1 race track.

The shuttle service will be available during the race weekend from October 6-8, 2023. In addition, Doha Metro and Lusail Tram have announced that they will be extending their service timings to 3 a.m. during the race weekend from October 6-8, 2023. This will make it easier for racegoers to get to and from the event.

If you plan on using the metro and shuttle to get to the Formula 1 race, here are some important things you need to know:

• Use the free shuttle service that is available from exit 1 of the QNB Lusail Metro Station to the Formula 1 race track
• The estimated travel time to the track from the station is 20 minutes
• The free shuttle service will be located on the East side of the metro station On Friday (October 6) and Saturday (October 7), there will be a constant service from 2 pm – 1:30 am (last bus to metro leaves the track at 1:30 am)
• On Sunday (October 8), there will be a constant service from 2 pm – 2:30 am (last bust to metro leaves the track at 2:30 am)
• Spectators are advised to use public transport and arrive early as there will be special traffic protocols in place in the areas surrounding the circuit.

The events scheduled on race days will be as follows:

Friday, October 6 Fanzone opens: 2 pm

Practice sessions starts: 4:30 pm Qualifying session: 8 pm

Amr Diab concert: estimated 1 hour after qualifying

Saturday, October 7

Fanzone opens: 2 pm

Sprint shootout: 4 pm Sprint race: 8:30 pm

Alesso concert: estimated 1 hour after sprint race

Sunday, October 8

Fanzone opens: 3 pm

Feature race: 8 pm

Bruno Mars concert: estimated 1 hour after feature race
