Qatar Foundation Offers Various Fun Summer Activities

If you are staying in Qatar for the summer and have nothing to do during those long summer days, Qatar Foundation has organized fun-filled activities to keep you entertained during the long summer months. 

Summer Activities with Qatar Foundation: 

Ladies Night

A Ladies' Night will be hosted at the Education City Stadium on Jul. 19 and Aug. 23. 

The event will offer women and young girls sports and fitness activities. 

Boys aged nine years old and under can also attend the event.

QF Swimming Camp 

The H20 Swim Club will host a swimming camp for everyone aged up to 55 years old. 

The camp will run from Jul. 2 until Sep. 2 at Awsaj Recreation from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The camp will be hosted at Qatar Academy Msheireb from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., from Jul. 2 until Aug. 3.

The classes will also be hosted at the QF Recreation Center from 3:00 p.m. until 8:15 p.m., from Jul. 2 until Jul. 26.

QF Basketball Camp 

The basketball camp will be hosted at the Qatar Academy for Science and Technology Basketball Court.

The camp will run from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday for children aged eight to twelve years old.

The lessons will be conducted from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday for teenage attendees aged 13 to 17 years old. 

Ladies Only Multi-Sports Camp

The camp is for girls aged six years old and above from Jul. 1 until Aug. 13.

Lessons for sports including Futsal, volleyball, and basketball will be held at Multaqa from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., from Jul. 13 until Aug. 10, every Thursday.

The 3x3 basketball sessions will be offered at Multaqa from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., while the beach volleyball sessions will be offered at Oxygen Park from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

QF Summer Football Camp

 This camp is open to ages six to 17 years old, from  9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. until Jun. 29 and from Aug. 20 to Aug. 24 at Multaqa.

The camp will also be hosted at Awsaj Recreation from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The camp will run from Jul. 2-6 and Jul. 9-13

The sessions will also be hosted at the Qatar Academy Sidra from  4:00 p.m. until 6:15 p.m., from Jul. 2 until Auf. 17.

Summer Explorers Camp

This camp is solely for kids aged three to ten years old. It will be from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. every Sunday to Thursday, from Jul. 2 until Aug. 24 at the Education City Clubhouse. 

Mukhaymna Summer Camp

This camp is for people aged seven to fifteen years old and will have separate camps for girls and boys.

The camp will run from Jul. 23 until Aug. 9.

QF Ability Friendly Program Summer Camp 2023

This camp is for people aged five to twenty years old. The camp will be run at Education City.

The camp will be divided into two operational periods. 

 Camp 1 will run from Jul. 9-20, while Camp 2 will run from Jul. 23 to Aug. 3, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. all days.

Children’s Summer Program 2023

The program is titled 'Little Makers: Outer Space' and it will be held at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar from Jul. 9-13, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

The program is open for ages six to eight years old. 

Summer Children’s Program 2023 

This program will run Stop Motion Animation 3D/2D and Sounds sessions at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar for ages nine to twelve years, from Jul. 18 to 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

MindCraft Python Summer Camp

This summer camp will be held at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar. 

The camp will involve teaching programming and robotics to high school students aged 14 to 17 years old.

MindCraft RoboMind Summer Camp

This camp will also be held at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar and it will involve teaching programming and computational thinking for middle school students.
