Qatar's Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) has announced a new initiative to lower the prices of more than 900 consumer goods for Ramadan.
The ministry has coordinated this initiative with major retail outlets in Qatar.

Shoppers who want to buy consumer goods at discounted prices will have to look for the following label.
The reduced prices are for basic commodities including food and beverages, hygiene products, and cleaning supplies.
The ministry has released a full list of products available at reduced prices during Ramadan.
Products of certain brands are available at discounted prices, so if shoppers want to benefit from this initiative, they have to buy products of the brands listed by the ministry.
The ministry launched this initiative to help citizens and residents in Qatar during Ramadan because it is the month when spending on food and other items increases.
