Motorists across Qatar will spend less on fuel in February after QatarEnergy announced a reduction in prices for diesel and gasoline, offering relief to drivers and transport operators.

According to the latest update, QatarEnergy has set the price of diesel at QR1.90 per litre, super gasoline (95 octane) at QR1.85 per litre, and premium gasoline (91 octane) at QR1.80 per litre.
The revised fuel prices represent a decrease compared to January rates, when diesel and super gasoline (95) were both priced at QR2 per litre, while premium gasoline (91) stood at QR1.95 per litre.
The monthly fuel price revision is part of QatarEnergy’s regular adjustment mechanism, which reflects international energy market trends and domestic supply considerations. The February price drop is expected to benefit private motorists, commercial fleets, and delivery services, while also easing transportation costs for businesses and consumers.
With fuel prices updated at the start of the month, drivers are encouraged to plan their refuelling accordingly and take advantage of the lower rates at petrol stations across the country.
