The Amiri Diwan has announced an official public holiday in Qatar to mark National Sport Day 2026, reaffirming the country’s ongoing commitment to promoting health and physical activity across society.

In a statement, the Amiri Diwan confirmed that the holiday will be observed on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, which corresponds to 22 Sha’ban 1447 AH. National Sport Day is celebrated annually on the second Tuesday of February.
