Since Qatar's National Sports Day is celebrated on the second Tuesday of February every year, in 2024 it will fall on Feb. 13.

The joint committee for National Sports Day emphasized that National Sports Day should be celebrated by engaging in physical activities and avoiding elaborate celebrations.
The committee also called on people to focus on awareness programmes about physical activities on National Sports Day.
The committee emphasized whatever activities are organized for Sports Day, they should be suitable for participants, considering their ages and health conditions.
The Sports Day joint committee directed organizations to avoid building tents or temporary artificial sports centers.
These organizations are also ordered to ensure the safety of participants during sports events, utilizing public spaces during Sports Day, providing healthy food to participants, and refraining from distributing free gifts and food to the participants.
Institutions are also discouraged from organizing flashy and loud musical activities or performances.
The committee has requested all ministries, government entities, public institutions, and the private sector to submit their National Sports Day plans and programmes at the official Ministry of Sports website.
