Qatar Airways is expanding its services to the Americas, with more weekly flights to Toronto and São Paulo starting this June. The airline will operate five flights per week to Toronto from June 19, 2025, and increase flights to São Paulo to 17 times per week starting June 25, 2025.

This move comes in response to rising demand from both business and leisure travelers, aiming to strengthen the airline’s global network through its hub in Doha’s Hamad International Airport.

More flights for Toronto passengers

The Doha-to-Toronto route, which launched in December 2024, is already proving to be popular. Qatar Airways plans to increase the frequency to five flights per week this summer, with daily flights expected by winter.

Summer schedule (starting June 19):

  • Doha to Toronto (QR767): Departs at 08:10, arrives at 15:00

  • Toronto to Doha (QR768): Departs at 21:00, arrives at 16:40

Winter schedule:

  • Doha to Toronto: Daily at 08:25, arrives 14:40

  • Toronto to Doha: Daily at 20:10, arrives 16:55

São Paulo gets a boost with 17 weekly flights

Flights to São Paulo are also seeing a boost, going from 14 to 17 flights per week. The Brazilian city remains a key hub for Qatar Airways, with convenient links to major cities across Latin America through LATAM Airlines.

Additional departures on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays (starting June 25):

  • Doha to São Paulo (QR785): Departs at 00:10, arrives at 09:00

  • São Paulo to Doha (QR786): Departs at 10:30, arrives at 06:45

Passengers can connect to over 55 Latin American cities, including Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Lima, and Santiago de Chile.
