Iranian media reported Monday that Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh, wife of the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has died. She had been hospitalized in critical condition after sustaining injuries in a US and Israeli airstrike on Tehran late Saturday.

According to the Iranian Students’ News Agency, Bagherzadeh had been in a coma following the attack that also claimed her husband’s life just days earlier.
