Ajyal Film Festival to Return to Qatar in November

The Ajyal Film Festival will return to Qatar for its 11th edition in November, according to the Doha Film Institute (DFI).

The festival will take place from Nov. 8 to Nov. 16. The word 'Ajyal' means 'generations'.

The film institute shared posts on Instagram, which stated that submissions have opened for the 'Made in Qatar' segment of the film festival. 

For general film submissions, the deadline is Aug. 24.

The submission deadline is Sep. 2 and eligible applicants include Qatari nationals as well as residents who want to submit a short feature or documentary.
