The much-anticipated 6th edition of the Qatar Luxury Classic Cars Competition & Exhibition 2025 will take place from 19 to 23 November 2025 at the scenic Medina Centrale, The Pearl on The Pearl-Qatar island.

Hosted by the Qatari Gulf Classic Car Association (QGCCA) in collaboration with the Federation of Historic Vehicles (FIVA) under the patronage of Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al‑Thani of Qatar Museums, the event is positioned as a major gathering of vintage and luxury automobiles from Qatar and the wider GCC region.

This year’s exhibition features an expanded footprint and participant roster, with QGCCA revealing that 71 vehicles out of 180 registrations have been shortlisted for competition across five historic age categories: pre-1947, 1948-1959, 1960-1970, 1971-1981 and 1982-1995.

Judging will be rigorous, with a panel of six stewards – four international experts and two experienced Qatari judges – evaluating entries using FIVA-compliant standards. Winners will be honoured during a closing ceremony on 23 November.

The contest will award a range of prizes, including excellence awards for categories like Best Exceptional Luxury Car, Most Iconic & Distinguished Car, Best Preserved Original Car, Best Preserved Qatari Heritage Car and Best Car in Exhibition.

Beyond the competition, the exhibition emphasises educational outreach: Qatar Museums plans to run a programme introducing school and university students to the world of classic cars as artefacts combining engineering, art and design.

Entry is free and open to the public, making the event a must-see for car enthusiasts, collectors and families looking to appreciate automotive heritage in an upscale setting.
