Qatar’s Ministry of Culture has announced that the cultural festival Al Razji will take place at Darb Al Saai from February 25 to March 3, offering residents and visitors a vibrant celebration of tradition and heritage throughout Ramadan.
Set to run daily from 8 pm to 1 am, the week-long event aims to revive and showcase Qatar’s rich cultural legacy within the unique ambience of the holy month. Organisers say it will blend age-old customs with modern, interactive experiences designed to engage people of all ages.
Al Razji will feature a wide array of activities, including traditional performances such as poetry recitals, storytelling sessions, and live demonstrations of historic crafts, giving audiences a window into the traditions that have shaped Qatari life.
In addition to the artistic and cultural programmes, visitors can explore hands-on workshops and interactive installations that bring Qatar’s customs to life. Organisers highlight that the initiative balances entertainment with educational enrichment, ensuring that younger participants can connect meaningfully with their heritage.
The festival complements Doha’s broader Ramadan cultural calendar, which includes numerous events celebrating community, spirituality and cultural continuity across the country.
Darb Al Saai, located in Umm Salal, is a prominent cultural venue in Qatar known for hosting heritage festivals and events that highlight the nation’s identity. This year, Al Razji is expected to be a key attraction for families and visitors seeking to experience Qatari traditions in an immersive and festive Ramadan setting.
Through activities that span from crafts and live arts to storytelling and family experiences, Al Razji at Darb Al Saai reinforces Qatar’s efforts to celebrate and preserve its cultural heritage during one of the most significant months of the Islamic calendar.
