Two Women Rescued from Rubble of the Collapsed Building in Mansoura

Two women have been rescued from the rubble of the building that collapsed in the Bin Durham area in Mansoura, Doha on Wednesday. 

The Ministry of Interior said in a tweet "Further to the previous statement regarding the collapse of a building in the Bin Durham area, the search and rescue teams were able to pull out two women alive. They have been shifted to the hospital to receive the necessary medical treatment."

Preliminary investigations have revealed that the building was going through some maintenance work during the time of its collapse. The relevant authorities have probed into the matter to ensure that the parties responsible for maintenance work had the required permits for their operations. The authorities are also investigating if the maintenance work affected the building's collapse in any way.
