New Beach is Set to Launch Soon at Western Façade of Old Doha Port

Qatar, well-known for its beaches, enhanced a number of beaches in different parts of the country. A brand-new beach is set to launch soon at the western façade of the Old Doha Port, according to the authority in charge of developing the area. No details about the specific date have been revealed yet.

The new beach is set to attract many visitors and become the hottest new tourist spot in the country upon completion, as it will be surrounded by many other hotel apartments, hotels, different shops, cafes and restaurants.

Some of the recreational facilities such as a garden and a fish market are set to come up next to the beach. In addition, there will be an 8km walkway specified as a path for bikes.

The Old Doha Port is situated very near other popular tourist attractions like the Museum of Islamic Art, Souq Waqif, the National Museum of Qatar and the Doha Corniche.

The area is already popular for attracting hundreds of citizens, and tourists during the evenings and weekly holidays. It also hosts popular programmes during the Holy month of Ramadan.
