Jiwan Joins Hands with Dara Dining for a One-Day Four-Hands Collaboration

19 January 2026, Dubai, UAE: On 23 January 2026, Jiwan, a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand restaurant situated in the National Museum of Qatar, will host Dara Dining by Sara Aqel, #18 on MENA’s 50 Best, from Amman, Jordan for a one-day four-hands experience that celebrates shared Arab flavours, culinary memory, and the power of a communal table.

Chef Sara Aqel, Chef and Managing Partner of Dara Dining, recognised among the region’s leading chefs and restaurants, makes her debut in Doha at the welcome of Chef Julien Guilloret, Head Chef of Jiwan, for a thoughtfully crafted menu that blends culinary heritage with contemporary expression. Together, the chefs present an experience rooted in familiarity and warmth, while inviting guests to discover familiar ingredients in new and meaningful ways.

This collaboration is not about reinventing tradition, but about placing recognisable flavours into a modern dialogue. Through shared technique, storytelling, and a deep respect for ingredients, the chefs create a dining experience that feels both comforting and curious.

The chefs will present a tasting menu of dishes that are each distinctively theirs, yet cohesive when placed together. From Chef Guilloret’s corner, expect modern plates rooted in tradition such as the Jiwan harees, whole wheat stewed with chicken, spices and ghee. Chef Aqel brings with her Dara Dining’s contemporary dishes rooted in Levant heritage, such as her Khubbeizeh, made with a green that grows wild in the Levant and labneh jareshia.

The Jiwan x Dara Dining pop-up will take place for one day only on 23 January 2026, with lunch and dinner seating available.
