Officials from the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Education launched the first tranche of electric school buses on Tuesday, Apr. 30 on the sidelines of the Autonomous e-Mobility Forum.

The Minister of Transport H E Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti and Minister of Education and Higher Education H E Buthainab int Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi launched the electric school bus services.
The electric school buses were launched as part of the Ministry of Transport's strategy, which includes the gradual and comprehensive implementation of electric buses to reach 100% by 2030.
Mowasalat will put electric school buses on the test run this academic year to educate school pupils about e-mobility.
