Numerous research organisation from around the world have praised Qatar for being a country that welcomes workers.

The recent inclusion of five Qatar-based businesses in the list of the greatest places to work for millennials in the Middle East by the worldwide research, training, and consultancy firm "Great Place to Work" gave it yet another feather in its cap.

Shift WLL placed sixth on the list of top 50 firms, with The One, a home furnishings company with a base in Qatar, taking the top spot.

Universal Media Qatar finished in the 23rd spot while AlBahia Beauty Salon came in 42nd.

On the list, Waka Kitchen ranked 44th.

The GCC countries' top workplaces for millennials in various industries were recognized on the list.

“We’re excited to announce the winners of our highly sought-after Best Workplaces for Millennials list, showcasing the organisations that have excelled in creating a thriving work environment for the millennial workforce,” Great Place to Work Middle East’s Manager of Regional Lists and Certifications for Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE & KSA,  Lamees ElZeghaty, said.

“Through an extensive evaluation process, employees from companies shared their experiences anonymously, providing valuable insights into what truly makes a workplace millennial-friendly,” added ElZeghaty.
