The Abu Dhabi Film Commission just confirmed it—Dune: Part Three is coming back to the UAE. The Liwa desert, with its massive golden dunes, will reprise its role as the iconic planet Arrakis. Filming is set to kick off later this year, with Abu Dhabi’s Creative Media Authority and Film Commission handling on-ground support.

Why Abu Dhabi Again?

Legendary Entertainment says the Liwa dunes perfectly capture the mythical essence of Arrakis, making it a no-brainer to return.
