Airline waives change fees and offers ticket refunds amid regional flight disruptions caused by airspace closures.

Qatar Airways has announced special travel flexibility for passengers affected by ongoing regional disruptions, offering free rebooking and refunds for customers with travel plans between February 28 and March 10, 2026.

In a travel advisory on its official website, the airline confirmed that travellers with confirmed bookings for flights scheduled within that period are eligible to change their travel dates by up to 14 days from the original departure date at no extra cost, or opt to receive a refund of the unused value of their ticket.

The move comes as a growing number of flights across the Middle East have been disrupted due to airspace closures and operational suspensions, which have affected regional hubs and itineraries, leaving travellers facing cancellations and uncertainty.

Qatar Airways has advised passengers to monitor flight updates via its official website or mobile app as they continue to assess conditions and communicate changes. Due to high call volumes, the airline is urging customers to contact support only if they are travelling within the next 48 hours.

Passengers who booked their flights through third-party travel agents or other booking platforms are being encouraged to contact those intermediaries for assistance with refunds or date changes.

Amid the broader travel disruption scenario, the airline continues to work closely with aviation authorities on the safe resumption of services, maintaining customer support and guidance for those affected.
