Qatar University announced the opening of applications to postpone the payment of tuition fees to lift the registration record and allow eligible students to register for courses for the spring of 2023, during the period from 9 to 20 October.

Where the Student Financial Aid Department receives electronic requests to postpone the payment of tuition fees for the same semester in which the application is submitted based on the conditions and procedures specified through the Banner system, for the purpose of temporarily lifting the registration record and allowing the eligible student to register for courses for the next semester, within The dates for receiving applications determined by the department, and a maximum of two weeks before the early registration date for the next semester, according to the approved university calendar.

In the case that the student wants to postpone the payment of tuition fees for the purpose of lifting the registration record and allowing him to register for courses for the next semester, he must fulfill a number of conditions, which are that the application should be submitted within the deadlines for receiving applications determined by the department, and a maximum of two weeks before the date of early registration for the next semester According to the approved university calendar. And that the student is a regular in studying at the undergraduate level, as visiting students, and postgraduate students are not entitled to apply for a postponement of the payment of tuition fees.

The request should not be related to the postponement of the payment of tuition fees for the first semester or the last semester of the student at the university. Also, the tuition fee deferral service does not include fines related to deleting courses or withdrawing from the semester.

Requests to postpone the payment of tuition fees related to the fall and spring semesters are received only, as the student is not entitled to postpone the payment of tuition fees related to the summer or winter semesters.

Also, the request must be related to the postponement of the payment of tuition fees for the courses in which the student is registered during the same semester of submitting this application. The student is not allowed to submit a request to postpone the payment of fees if he still owes money to the university because of the postponement of the tuition fees for the previous semester.

The university stipulates that the amount required to postpone its payment does not exceed 10,000 riyals for students expected to graduate by the end of the semester following the semester in which the application was submitted.

The student should not be a beneficiary of a scholarship during the semester in which he submitted this application, and he owed a sum of money to the university as a result of postponing the payment of fees for the previous semester for the semester in which he received the scholarship, and therefore the payment of fees will not be postponed again after receiving the grant.

Then, the student must submit the electronic application with the required documents uploaded in full during the announced submission dates for the requested service.
