The New Rule
The update came after Minister of Public Health H.E. Mansoor bin Ebrahim Al Mahmoud issued a new decision, scrapping the previous requirement for health card fees and replacements. Residents, however, still need their health cards as usual.
Why It Matters
The Ministry says this move will cut paperwork, unify documents across government services, and make hospital visits smoother for citizens. In short — less hassle, more convenience.
