Qatar Meteorological Department has issued a weather alert warning of strong winds, blowing dust and hazardous marine conditions across Qatar on February 15 and 16, 2026.

According to the department, the country is expected to experience fresh to strong northwesterly winds during the two-day period. These winds may stir up dust in several areas, potentially reducing horizontal visibility and affecting outdoor activities and road travel.
