Al Dhira’a Season Starts in Qatar with Heat and Rain Risk

The Qatar Meteorology Department has officially announced the start of Al Dhira’a season—also called Al-Mirzam—beginning July 29, 2025, and lasting 13 days. This marks one of the hottest stretches of the year in the country.

Expect Hot, Humid Days (and Maybe Rain!)

During this season, the sun blazes, humidity spikes, and local clouds might show up, bringing a chance of sudden rain showers. Yup, it’s one of those “sweat + surprise rain” combos.

Winds will mostly blow from the northeast, so don’t expect much breeze to save you either.

Heads-Up: Prep for the Heat

Locals are advised to stay hydrated, dress light, and brace themselves for the extra muggy days ahead. Whether you're heading out or staying in, now’s the time to bring out your weather-smart habits.
