World-Class International Chef at Hilton Doha the Pearl

Hilton Doha the pearl Hotel & Apartments has announced that acclaimed Chef Serge Golomes has joined the hotel's team as Executive Chef, bringing new flavors to the restaurant menus.

Chef Serge Golomes started his career in southwest France where he grew up before traveling all over the world to learn new tastes and cuisines.

Chef Golomes's journey began in Belgium from the one-Michelin-starred restaurant "La Baume Canel", and completed his culinary journey in the Caribbean islands, and was appointed as Head Chef in Saint Martin, where he opened the "Poisson d'Or" restaurant, which became the best restaurant in the area of the Caribbean Sea.

Then he moved to the USA, and decided to join Sir Patrick Terrell's team at the famous "Ma Maison" hotel in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, known for hosting celebrities.

Since he has French roots, Chef Golomes returned to his country and spent two years at the Aspen Park Hotel in Méribel before continuing his professional journey to Switzerland, specifically Théoule-sur-Mer on the Cote d'Azur,

In 2005, Chef Serge was awarded a Michelin star when he was an Executive Chef of Relais & Chateaux Le Mas Candille in Mougins, southern France.

Then he returned to the Caribbean in Saint Martin city, where he managed the kitchens of the famous La Samana Belmond Hotel, and then visited Virginia, where he opened a French restaurant at the Glass light Hotel and Gallery, achieving great success and becoming the best French restaurant in Virginia within a period of only 6 months from its opening.

With the hiring of Chef Golomes as Executive Chef, the restaurants at Hilton Doha the Pearl will see new and qualitative additions to their menu, and new and classic flavors that reflect Qatar's history, culture and local products will be added to The Kitchen and Mulberry Tavern restaurants.

Drawing from his experience teaching at culinary schools all over the world, Chef Serge has successfully established his own gastronomy consultancy.

As a result of Chef Golomes's innovative journey, innovative dishes have been added to The Kitchen's restaurant menu, including cantaloupe salad with smoked beef, crab meat tartar with apple and vegetable tartar and lobster caviar that will make a big impact, as well as Sultan Ibrahim's grilled fish stuffed with crab meat, shallots, lemon jelly and other creations.

As for The Mulberry Tavern restaurant, which is accustomed to classic dishes, will add to its menu innovative dishes including fried octopus, chimichurri lamb ribs, smoked chicken and duck mix, tomato tarts, and more.

It should be noted that Hilton Doha the Pearl is located in West Bay, 8 km from Khalifa Tennis and Squash Complex, and features a view of the islands.
