Qatar Football Festival is Happening in Doha This March

Football fans have a major event to mark on their calendars as the Qatar Football Festival 2026 is set to take place in Doha from March 26 to 31, bringing together top international teams and high-profile matches, organisers confirmed.

Anchored by the prestigious Finalissima 2026, a clash between the European champions Spain and South American champions Argentina at Lusail Stadium on March 27, the festival will feature a total of six international fixtures showcasing football powerhouses from around the world.

The full schedule includes:

  • March 26: Egypt vs Saudi Arabia at Ahmad bin Ali Stadium and Qatar vs Serbia at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium
  • March 27: Finalissima — Spain vs Argentina at Lusail Stadium
  • March 30: Egypt vs Spain at Lusail Stadium and Saudi Arabia vs Serbia at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium
  • March 31: Qatar vs Argentina at Lusail Stadium

In addition to the on-pitch action, exclusive travel packages for international supporters will be launched on February 1, 2026, in partnership with Visit Qatar and Qatar Airways. Match tickets will be released for sale from February 25 via the official platform roadtoqatar.qa.

Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairman of the Local Organising Committee for Football Events, said the festival not only offers exciting preparation for teams ahead of FIFA World Cup 2026™ but also underscores Qatar’s role as a global football hub and its commitment to delivering world-class sporting experiences.

With matches staged across several iconic venues and featuring a mix of continental champions and rising national teams, the Qatar Football Festival promises a week of thrilling football in the heart of the Gulf.
