Jordan Successfully Evacuates Over 130 Global Sumud Flotilla Passengers

Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has announced the safe arrival of 131 individuals evacuated from the Global Sumud Flotilla, including one Jordanian and 130 nationals from various countries. The group entered Jordan via the King Hussein Bridge in a coordinated humanitarian operation.

Fouad Al-Majali, the ministry’s official spokesperson, confirmed that the evacuation was carried out in close coordination with Jordanian authorities to ensure the safe passage and proper assistance for all evacuees.

Al-Majali emphasized that Jordan not only facilitated the evacuation but also coordinated with embassies of participating countries to organize the next stage of travel for their citizens.

Oman Expresses Gratitude

The Sultanate of Oman expressed appreciation to Jordan for assisting in the safe return of an Omani citizen detained by Israeli forces during the flotilla incident.

“The Foreign Ministry expressed its thanks to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and to the brotherly and friendly countries that contributed to the success of this humanitarian endeavour,” Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.

This coordinated operation underscores Jordan’s active humanitarian diplomacy and strong regional cooperation during international crises.
