Hamad International Airport (HIA) has announced the gradual resumption of flight operations by several airline partners, effective April 21, 2026. This development aligns with a recent directive from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, signaling a return to normalcy for air travel connectivity through the Qatari hub.
According to an official update from HIA, the restart of services will occur in phases over the coming week. The schedule for resumption is as follows:
- April 21, 2026: flydubai
- April 22, 2026: Air Arabia
- April 23, 2026: Oman Air, Royal Jordanian, Tarco Aviation, and US-Bangla Airlines
- April 26, 2026: Middle East Airlines
- April 28, 2026: Himalaya Airlines
