GCC Activates Emergency Centre Amid Israel-Iran Conflict

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has activated its Emergency Management Centre following the recent conflict between Israel and Iran. While there’s no immediate threat to the region, the move is a precautionary step to monitor any possible risks tied to the escalating situation.

GCC Secretary General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi said that all technical indicators remain normal and there’s no cause for public concern at the moment. The full alert status is simply to maintain preparedness across the Gulf.

He explained that the emergency centre is actively tracking environmental and radiological conditions in coordination with authorities in member states. Early warning systems are also in place to ensure quick response if anything changes.
