The wait is over for toy enthusiasts and families across the region. Qatar Calendar has officially announced the return of the Qatar Toy Festival (QTF) for 2026, promising its largest and most immersive iteration to date. Scheduled to run from July 1 to July 31, the month-long celebration will transform the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) into a sprawling playground spanning over 22,000 square meters across four dedicated halls.
This year's edition, operating under the vibrant slogan "More to Imagine, A Whole World of Fun," marks a significant evolution for the event. As a cornerstone of Visit Qatar's 'Hala Summer' campaign, QTF 2026 is set to transcend traditional trade fair formats, emerging as a fully integrated entertainment experience. In a strategic collaboration with Spacetoon, the festival will unite global toy brands, live performances, extensive retail offerings, and interactive activations under one roof.
Building on Record Success
Following the resounding success of the previous edition, which welcomed more than 130,000 visitors, the festival has solidified its reputation as a premier family entertainment destination in the GCC. Recognizing this momentum, Visit Qatar is extending a warm invitation to families and visitors from across the Gulf Cooperation Council to experience a summer defined by exclusive experiences and world-class attractions.
"We are thrilled to bring back the biggest version of the festival yet," said an official spokesperson. "Our goal is to create a seamless summer getaway that combines culture, entertainment, and relaxation for everyone."
A Month of Immersive Entertainment
The 2026 lineup features a significant expansion in scope, introducing new themed zones meticulously designed to cater to diverse age groups, from pre-school children and teenagers to young adults and serious collectors. Highlights of the new layout include:
- The Immersive Stage Hall: A brand-new venue dedicated to hosting high-energy concerts, theatrical shows, interactive competitions, and live performances throughout the month.
- The Influencers Zone: A dedicated space designed to foster digital engagement, providing content creators with a unique platform to showcase the festival's attractions.
- Exclusive Collectibles: Shoppers can look forward to limited-edition merchandise and rare collectibles available exclusively at the event.
Part of a Dynamic Summer Calendar
The Qatar Toy Festival is a key component of Visit Qatar's broader strategy to deliver a dynamic, year-round calendar of experiences. Beyond the festival grounds, the state is offering a seamless summer experience for GCC visitors, featuring exclusive deals on dining, wellness, leisure, accommodation, and shopping.
As July approaches, the anticipation builds for what promises to be a landmark event in Qatar's cultural and entertainment calendar, reinforcing the nation's status as a leading destination for large-scale family events.
