The U.S. Embassy in Doha has announced a change in its visa process, and it’s pretty straightforward: only Qatar residents can now book immigrant and non-immigrant visa appointments. Anyone applying must show a valid QID during their appointment—no exceptions.
What Non-Residents Should Do
If you’re not living in Qatar, the embassy says you’ll need to apply in the country where you currently reside or where you hold citizenship. Doha will no longer accept applications from non-residents.
