Qatar Airways Drops Doha Into Fortnite with a Playable Digital World
Qatar Airways launches QVerse Island in Fortnite, letting gamers explore Doha and win real flight tickets.
Qatar Airways has officially entered the Fortnite universe—and no, this isn’t just a logo slapped onto a map. The airline has launched QVerse Island, its first-ever digital destination inside the game, bringing Doha’s landmarks, airport vibes, and even its cabin experience into a fully playable world.
It’s open to all Fortnite players and designed to blur the line between gaming and travel.
How to Visit QVerse Island
Jumping in is easy. Players can search for “QVerse” inside Fortnite or enter the island code 6020-0265-6735. Once inside, the experience lets gamers explore a virtual version of Doha while interacting with Qatar Airways’ signature products and spaces.
The goal? Make travel feel exciting long before you even book a flight.
A Golden Ticket That Gets You on a Plane
To make things more interesting, Qatar Airways is running a Golden Ticket challenge inside QVerse Island.
From February 7 to 20, 2026, players can join popular gaming creators in a race to find a golden ticket that randomly appears on the map. The catch: it only stays visible for a few minutes before moving again.
If you find it, take a screenshot with your in-game character and share it on Instagram, Facebook, or X using #FlyWithQR, then follow Qatar Airways on Instagram. Do that, and you’re automatically entered into a draw to win free Qatar Airways flight tickets.
The competition runs until March 31, 2026, with new winners selected every week.
Meet Sama, Your In-Game Guide
The journey begins at a digital version of Hamad International Airport, where players meet Sama, Qatar Airways’ AI-powered virtual cabin crew member. Sama guides players across the island, linking the airline’s digital identity with the Fortnite world.
From there, players can explore highlights like the Qsuite, The Orchard, and mission-based challenges across Doha landmarks including West Bay and the National Museum of Qatar.
Gaming Meets Real-World Travel
QVerse Island is part of Qatar Airways’ bigger push into digital-first experiences. The airline is clearly targeting younger, tech-savvy travellers who spend as much time online as they do planning their next trip.
This launch also ties in with the airline’s wider tech investments, including Starlink-powered inflight Wi-Fi, now available on more than 120 widebody aircraft across major global routes.
Together, QVerse Island, Sama, and high-speed connectivity signal one thing: Qatar Airways wants the travel experience to start way before boarding.
And now, it starts in Fortnite.
