Ibrahim Al-Jarwan, a member of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences, has estimated when the crescent marking the beginning of Ramadan in the UAE will appear according to UAE Barq.

It is expected that the crescent will be born on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 06:31pm UAE time. The Holy Month of Ramadan would then begin the next day on Tuesday, April 13th 2021.

A usual we will wait confirmed dates to be announced by the UAE government once the moon is in sight as these dates are only estimated predictions.

Eid Al Fitr falls on the last day of the Islamic month of Ramadan to Shawwal 3. It’s been predicted that Eid al Fitr could fall on May 13th 2021, a Thursday, if so we will be expecting a 3 day weekend.
